At SoCal Gaming Expo, Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the excitement of both Limited and Commander tournaments.
The Limited tournaments offer a dynamic and strategic gameplay experience, where participants build decks on the fly from freshly opened booster packs, testing their adaptability and deck-building prowess.
Meanwhile, the Commander tournaments celebrate the multiplayer format's social and creative aspects, where players wield unique 100-card singleton decks led by a legendary creature, fostering epic and unpredictable battles.
These events at the Expo provide a vibrant community atmosphere, allowing players of all skill levels to connect, compete, and share their passion for Magic: The Gathering.
Sign-ups for Tournaments: 11 am - 12:30 pm Sat & Sun
Tournament Start Times: 1 pm and go on all day till close

In addition to the Main Events below, there will be Free Mini Events with prizes for the first-place group of four players (minimum) in all formats.
Card sleeves and mats will not be provided for events, so please bring your own.

$20 Event Fee
Main tournament event will be Commander for an up coming Tarkir: Dragonstorm commander deck to 1st as well as prizing for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place - minimum of 8 players
If 8 players - Top 4 prizing break down
1st: Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Deck+2 packs | 2nd: 6 packs | 3rd: 5 packs | 4th: 4 packs
Magic the Gathering Limited / Draft Tournament - REGISTER HERE
$15 Event Fee
Will consist of 3 booster packs of the newest set to make a 40 card mini deck. Any cards not used will be part of your sideboard card sleeves. Mats will not be provided for this event. Minimum of 8 players prizing for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place
Sunday (MTG Main Events)
Magic the Gathering Commander (proxy card allowed event) - REGISTER HERE
$5 Event Fee
The main tournament event will be commander for prizing to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place proxy cards will be allowed in decks minimum of 8 players 5$
Magic the Gathering Chaos Limited / Draft Tournament - REGISTER HERE
$15 Event Fee
